Kindness is defined as, “the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate”, but you probably already knew that! We’re all taught, from a very young age, to be kind to one another; that sharing is caring, and the “golden rule”, but what does that all really mean? Is that societies way of telling you: be nice or else?

With everything that we as a planet have experienced these past few years, we at KINDNESS IS felt like it was time to get back to the basics! Back to the fundamental understanding that we only get one life to live, and one planet to share; so why not make it the best version that we can?! Right?!

At KINDNESS IS, we are committed to building a community of like-minded individuals and businesses who subscribe to the idea that even the smallest action can have a ripple effect that can change the world! AND YOU CAN HELP! Through the purchase of our merchandise, we will be donating a portion of all sales to the CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE, trying to spread our message of kindness as far as we can!

WHO WE ARE

So... Two small business owners, who have never met, and live over a thousand miles apart, are introduced at a virtual networking event at the height of the pandemic. They share a few laughs, discuss the current state of the world, and come to realize they are cut from the same cloth; both wishing that there was a way to make a bigger impact on their community and promote more kindness in the world!

While it sounds like the set-up to a joke, or a math problem, it’s actual the origin of KINDNESS IS!

Marc and Fred met online in 2020 and the spark between them immediately fueled the launch of the “KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS” initiative; a throwback to the wristband era of the early 2000’s, and a promise. A promise to do whatever they could to spread the message of kindness to everyone they meet. Over the past few years, the KINDNESS IS team has expanded, bringing in other members of the family and community, at large! Now it’s your turn!
